With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.
The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.
When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.
Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.
Simple, Custom Installation
This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.
B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

Ok first off. The paint adhesion of any b&w product is probably the worst I've seen for the money. The paint is the first thing that falls off.
That being said if you know that already and take some precautions like I did then you can really easily fix this problem.
I sandblasted the back half of my frame and did the 3 step por-15 method on everything. I currently live in Indiana and I do seldomly drive it in the winter but I hate rust and will be moving more south shortly.
I por-ed every part that came with the hitch. Every bolt and nut got anti-seize. The bolts are also of basic quality and will rust fast. Anything that was metal on metal contact has a layer of marine grease to prevent the from from rusting in between. I'm extra but I felt that this was the only way to go to protect everything. It's still a great product and hasn't let me down yet.

This is a well made and designed product that is engineered I would call "over built"
It will serve our purpose of pulling horse and camper trailers as long as we need it.
This fit nicely on my 2004 Silverado 3500. Installation was very straight forward. I have not had a chance to use the hitch yet, but I don't see any reason that it won't work out excellent. Thanks
The hitch bolts right up and is very strong! I pull almost 30k with it often.
Fast shipping,box was banged up and covered in tape but all parts were accounted for. B&W makes great products, easy install, great fitment but for the love of God they need to comes up with a better paint. Easily chips off if you look at it the wrong way... I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for poor paint quality

Best hitch made
Quality product, installation was easy. The installation video on etralier website was very helpful. Package was delivered pretty beat up but no parts were missing.
Followed the instructions to the tee! I would rate this as an above job to install. Would highly recommend having it installed by a expert. I would think the most help that could be provided would be high quality pictures, in the manual...just can’t imagine that the company who manufactured this hitch saved them self’s a whole lot pennies by not having color pictures. And the manual said you may have jack the truck bed out the way...correction, you will have to jack the truck bed out of the way!
Great hitch and design. Easy to install with two people , but be prepared for at least 2 to 4hrs to install. A couple of issues is I didn't receive everything to complete the hitch package ( the cap that covers the hitch when the ball is flipped over) Dosent come with the package, it's sold separately. I would 5hink when you buy a complete hitch for the money you spend,it should be included like thier competitors. $xxx is crazy price for the cover. Over all great hitch

Also, the product was the best rate we found. We actually contacted a trailer installation company who installs these items and they referred us to order online thinking we were only in need of the installation kit and we could get it cheaper if we ordered online and they would install it. Upon discussing with them about installing this, they asked us how much we paid and then said that is the lowest amount charged for those and you got a great price. Very happy over all. it came in 2 separate boxes.the center section and bolt bags in one box, and the rails and sideplates and safety hardware.1 box came 12-16 and the other box came 12-17.....I installed it with my friend cookie and had it done in 4 hrs time everything fits perfect
Much easier to install than I expected. Great instructions and perfect fit.
So far it works, can’t give it a 5 star do to the Covi19 pandemic, not a chance to go camping and we’ll see this coming year if there is a way to go out.
